How Do PeelAways Work?

PeelAways are much simpler and quicker than conventional sheets. At PeelAway Labs, we understand how something as simple as a sheet can have profound benefits. Now you can change a hospital bed in seconds with minimal patient discomfort.

1. Open the sealed package and place pillows on the bed as you would a fitted sheet. Checking that the green stitching is at the head of the bed.
2. When it's time to change the sheet, go to each top corner with the green stitching and pre rip each of the top two corners. Make sure to only rip the top sheet.
3. With one hand on the patient, instruct or assist the patient to roll on his or her side to face you.
4. While keeping the hand on the patient, reach across to the opposite pre-ripped corner and peel down along the seam to the bottom of the sheet.
5. When one side is fully peeled off, roll or tuck the used sheet to the patient's back.
6. While the patient is still on his or her side, with one hand on the patient, walk around to the other side of the bed and ask or assist the patient to roll to face you.
7. With one hand holding the patient, reach across to the opposite pre-ripped corner and peel down along the seam to the bottom of the sheet.
8. Once both sides of the layered sheet are peeled off, remove the entire layer and discard it appropriately.
