I purchased this ahead of my home birth in 2018. The general recommendation is to pull out the old bedsheets and be okay with them getting ruined, but I didn’t actually have anything like that. I also have a tempurpedic mattress and the sheets for that aren’t cheap. I found these and they were fantastic! They fit my mattress and never did that thing where they pop off, so if you have a very deep mattress or a memory foam one these will still work. They were also so fast and easy to change. After my son was born and my midwife was helping me in the restroom my husband was able to strip off the top layer in less time than it took him to grab fresh blankets!
Generally after birth the less walking you can do the better. Short trips to the bathroom, that’s all. You’ll heal better and faster. These sheets made such a difference because they meant I never had to wait. I’d get up to use the bathroom and my husband would be able to strip the top layer and swap out my blankets before I got back. There was no “making do” sitting on a towel because we were still waiting on laundry or it would take too long to change the bedding. I’m pregnant again now and just added these to my prep list. I’ll again buy two packs and when my water breaks my husband will layer the two sets on the bed while I try and relax in the shower. I’m looking forward to a fresh sheet daily as I heal from this next round.

If I could use these for the my dear mother all the time I would. But they’re not in our budget. However, when laundry needs done and priorities are elsewhere, these are so useful. Top layer absorbs well enough for us. Whoever created these/patent thank God for them. Only negative I would say is my mother scoots around her bed a bit, so they tend to slid down and need to be readjusted as not to expose the other layers. It could use a better way to secure the exposed ends so the layers don’t shift so much and possibly get soiled. (I may upload a picture of what I mean). All in all, I will continue to order these as I can afford to.

This is a great idea for people who are bed ridden with in continence or for kids who wet the bed. They work great and I just love the concept. I no longer have to wash bedding daily or every other day. I definitely recommend this product.

Have a rabbit and like to have her on the bed at night for some cuddle time. Love this product! It protects my expensive comforter from the rabbit having an accident. I have a queen size bed but I buy the king size disposable sheets as it fits comfortably over everything. Once done having cuddle time-take off the disposable fitted sheets and if top layer is soiled-just peel that layer off. It’s easy..
